Everyone Deserves to Be Counted - Data Justice Training
Join us for a 2-hour Zoom training on data justice and equity. Discover how REALD/SOGI data ensures that all people with disabilities and diverse identities are accurately counted, valued, and represented in healthcare and services.
About Event
This 2-hour virtual training is designed for service providers, disability support staff, and health care professionals who want to deepen their understanding of data justice and data equity. We will explore why it matters that everyone is counted in data, with a focus on REALD (Race, Ethnicity, Language, Disability) and SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity). Participants will learn how inclusive data practices shine a light on inequities, ensure the needs of people with disabilities and marginalized communities are visible, and help create more just and responsive systems of care. Together, we’ll discuss practical steps to advance equity, challenge bias, and ensure all people are recognized as valuable members of our communities.
