About Event
Motivated by recent events that have included a generational ice storm, massive wildfires, a heat dome event and the ongoing pandemic, the Wilsonville City Council has established a broad goal of “Engaging the Community to Support Emergency Preparedness and Resiliency.”
By connecting residents and businesses with emergency response resources and educational materials, we hope to yield a more resilient community that is better equipped to endure the immediate aftermath of an emergency when access to critical supplies – power, water, food, medical aid, plumbing, phone, internet, transportation, etc. – may be restricted.
Each month, the “Wilsonville Ready” campaign is tackling a piece of emergency preparation. The campaign is illustrating the value of preparedness and providing tools and training to make it easier for individuals, families, and businesses to become more prepared. Look for a new article each month in the Boones Ferry Messenger, and more information here.
